Low impact exercise will keep your mind active

Chair yoga is a moderate form of yoga

Have you seen those pictures of people all twisted up in yoga poses and got discouraged of trying? I might get stuck like a pretzel, I would joke about. That’s until I found out about Chair Yoga.

Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that’s done while seated or using a chair for balance. You won’t get healthier by just sitting down, we all know that, but just 15 to 30 minutes a day can get you really far.

Some of the benefits might include:

  • Improves flexibility

  • Stress reduction

  • Improves pain management

  • Improves circulation

  • Combats depression and anxiety

  • Improves balance

  • Promotes independence and wellbeing
